I'd say it depend on how the 6 speed auto is been driven, if it's been used in manual mode you can probably do it ok... But as was said, your missing the clutch and there is still going to be a little delay \ sudden change (which you don't get with a clutch when there is someone behind the wheel who knows how to use it...)
