Claims about accelleration on the road whether rolling or not, regardless of auto, what power, etc are all useless. You have 400m sprints to compare SS times and that's about where any realistic comparison ends.

After that you go to the track.

A car should be able to accellerate, stop, and turn. It's the whole package I'm interested in. The car that delivers the whole package in the quickest time is the one I'll buy. (:stirthepot: as long as it's a manual of course :smilielol:)

Anyone for a track day?

Similar pwr even with a rolling start the manual will still lose upto 220 kph :stirthepot:

Doesn't Geeseman have 345 rwkw?? That'd be a good run. :smilielol:

The Goose could have 500 rwklw and I'd still beat him in my Mitsubishi van :spit::spit:

Some good times guys! Although the autos are faster, IMHO nothing beats the fun of a manual ..... regardles of how quick it goes in a straight line for the first 400m :spit:

I think your wrong. I'm sure that I have just as much fun in my boring old auto as any manual "T" driver out there. You guys with the slow 320rwkw's need to take a drive in a quick auto car to really appreciate how bad a choice you made by choosing a manual. :spit:

I'm up for a track day too. It'd have to be in Victoria though. :spit:

Geea. :gooff:
