Selling these vehicles is fun, I have never had so much fun and pride in a product Ford Austalia has done a great job. The XR6 Turbo is nothing short of a weapon.

I'm looking forward to mine, even if its not a Turbo. Though, there is a small part of me that wants to find out if I switch my order to a Turbo, if it'll lose its place in the production queue. :)

I've driven the NA XR6, and not meaning to take anything away from the car, the old AU XR8 is soooo much quicker. Sure it's not all about power, but hey, you can never have to much!

Good luck either way, and besides... what you don't buy today, you can modify tomorrow

No surprises there, the TS50 had about 250kw and the AUIII hi performance V8 in the XR8 had about 220kw if I'm not mistaken.

IMO the N/A XR6 is a fine car to drive and the 182kw is nothing to sneeze at. :)

Oh, I think you'll find those figures to be a little off. I know for a fact that the 5.6L windsor had closer to 260-265kw then 250, plus it's a lighter car.

I had the chance to tour Tickford just before the launch of T3 and there were T3s with orange 255, 260 and I think 265 stickers stuck to their intakes. Ford's been known to underrate their power outputs.

Fair enough, happy to be corrected. I did a quick yahoo search and that's what I came up with
