boost69 Donating Members 737 Member For: 19y 8m 29d Posted 01/02/06 06:13 AM Share Posted 01/02/06 06:13 AM Has anyone had problems with their motor and has Ford come to the party with the warranty.My motor is making a tapping noise and ive left it with the guys from Ford service and they've already pulled the motor out to try and figure out the problem.Will Ford fix the prob at their cost if its found to be something serious and expensive like a bearing or rod?Or should I expect them to start giving me the run around.....I only know of one other member that's had engine noise and Ford is refusing to bare the costs of fixing it.At this stage I dont know what it is but if its a bent rod etc.. I think Ford has some serious engineering and workmanship problems, as its seriously pathetic to be having these problems on such a new car with such low kms....I mean you would expect serious engine problems after a hard 150,000kms and even then it would still annoy you.I would appreciate any factual input from members that have had the same problem as me.
