That in itself doesn't mean he should be killed. Unfortunately some people here thought so.As more reports come to light, it seems there is much more to the story and the shooting was most probably justified.Lumpy

It doesn't help when the courts let the crims go with *beep* all penalties. Anyone that attacks a police officer obviously has a complete disregard for the law and is a danger to society. If i was the cop, in the middle of no-where with a crim punching the crap out of me i would have shot the f*cker too. ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 21y 1d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 01/02/06 10:24 PM Share Posted 01/02/06 10:24 PM It goes to show you how tough a job our cops have. The cop thought he was pulling over some petrol theif and most likely expected a straight forward arrest, but instead got an aggressive double murderer who was not going to go quietly. I would also assume that any backup would be many minutes away. It would be a nightmare situation that ended with the good guy still being alive.I would bet the guy has no intention of being arrested and has paid for it with his life. All I can say is WELL DONE Mr Policeman, you have handled a bad situation with the only option you had. I wish you a speedy recovery from your injuries and hope you can get over the memory of this shooting, because you did the right thing.I hope he gets a medal for his actions

He is lucky he wasn’t the 3 person killed by this ass-hole in as many days.

It os just a shame for the policeman.
