Large Puff Of White Smoke!

Anyone had this happen before or know what or why it has happened?

After a 25min drive I stopped my xr6t saw someone for 10min then got back into it and as I started up it blew out a huge white cloud of smoke I drove down the road and smoke got less and as I let it idle it gradually went anyone no what it is the car is all stock but 1800ks overdue for a service. thanks :laughing:

Sounds like the seals in the turbo are starting to leak oil.... If you want to check it pull the intake pipe off the front of the turbo and see how much oil is sitting in the pipe or dripping out the front housing in the turbo... Best to do this in morning cold....

Apparently my car was blowing a few puffs of white smoke here and there on a recent cruise. It had an oil change done the week earlier. There is some oil in the air intake tube (before the plenum)Other members tell me that oil in this tube is fairly normal..

Should I be worried?

Is there anything that can be done to stop the seals on the turbo leaking oil?

Its ok. Mine did the same thing around 4 months ago and it hasnt done it since. I managed to get video of it. It only happened after I washed the car drove it for a while then pulled up in the driveway. The turbo seals are fine as I had ford check them out
