ok guys, I have a BA sedan with 20x10 on the rear. I currently have kings SSL's but want to go a bit lower, say SSSL... has anybody had this combination, and will it be ok, or will the rim start hitting parts of the suspension and stuff?

I believe that if you go any lower you will hit the bump stops... I have 20's too with the same suspension set up... and was told when it was fitted that you can't go any lower and that I also shouldn't tow anything... :innocent: they told me too much load on the rear end of the car...

I see you have 20x10 on the rear what tyres are you running ?

Very interested...

Jack :sleepystuff:

well when my car isnt in taxi mode it runs 20x8.5 with reset kings springs which are a further 40mm lower than SSLs...

I had no problems with any part of the rim hitting suspension and I took the bump stops out, lol...

As for 20x10 :sleepystuff::innocent: I have no idea how youd fit them under there going lower than SSL

Good luck with it though..

and definatly get some pics up

hey, I've seen a pic of your car, and I think we have the same wheels...

yeah, im just worried, because on the inside of the rim, theres only about 4ml of clearance because the rim is 10" wide...

and the front tyres are 225/35/20 and rears are 245/35/20 next time I get tyres, which is pretty soon for the rear lol im gonna get some 275/30/20. as they are now, the sidewall of the tyre slopes in heaps, got the "drift" look.

heres a couple of pics... P.S. ALL OF THESE PICS ARE WITH SL IN BACK.(when I first got it done I had SL in and the week after I got the SSL's in)

That tyre width is WAY too narrow, I'm suprised they hold on.

After talking to XR6T8_U about his 20's he said that he had to use 225 tyres because anything wider didn't have the required load rating.
