XR8 way more economical... I get 298K's out of a tank by the trip computer and it drinks 21.9 litres/100km also according to trip computer. LOL... I think you've misinterpreted the post. I originally said T is way more economical. Then moved on to say the rest about the xr8 being 298kms out of a tank. The post I made straight after the original declares that I was speaking about our XR8. The territory we have is not far behind the 8 in fuel consumption and we drive that alot more sedately. It gets 19 litres/100km.

city driving with a 40k freeway run twice a day gets me averaging about 17l/100k

who's driving the car and why are they thrashing it ?

I've NEVER cracked the 19l/100k mark

crazy driving.... :blush:
