Does anyone have an opinion on how the XR6 Turbo compares to the XR8 on the fuel situation. How many city k's do you get out of a tank of each?? We get 298K's out of a tank by the trip computer and it drinks 21.9 litres/100km also according to trip computer. It is all city driving and to give u an idea we have to fill approx 2.5 times in a week sumtimes more. We have gotten it down to 14 litres/100km on a very long and sedate country drive but. shockF6 Member 478 Member For: 19y 7m 26d Location: Melbourne Posted 27/01/06 11:33 PM Share Posted 27/01/06 11:33 PM it all depends on how you drive them My average is 450k's per tank (or 14L/100) with an average speed of 43kph.On long interstate trips I get over 600k's per tankDuring my FPV track day I did 71k's on 3/4 of a tank (48.7L/100) with an average speed of 33kph but boy was that FUN Bottom line is if you drive them both soft the T will win for sure, but even then its all up to the driver on what economy you get Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/22951-ba-xr6-turbo-vs-xr8-fuel-comparison/#findComment-341058 Share on other sites

To date, my best average was about 10.5litres/100km in my XR6T BF over about 500kms.
