Just a few words.

First of all adam you have done a great job in getting into the 9 second bracket.

Now it is time to let some one else to try and do it.

Yes steve's car is highly modified and different to yours but it was never meant to be the same.

It is also notmeant to be just a 9 second car either he is lokking for 8's.

People seem to think every one has to have the same things well the world would be boring if we were the same.

So we should thank steve.adam ,geea, and all the others that are out there getting the t's faster every week instead we always seem to find faults with each other.

Ian.

PS please keep this on topic and leave all personal stuff at home.

Hi Guys,

Ok here's the run down.

The car is a streeter and weighs in just over 2 ton after the rollcage etc.

we don't remove any weight what so ever and run a 10" slick at the moment.

everything works in the car and no items removed.

as to the run

well 2 runs now and 2 flexplates, I have a video of the run but don't know how to post it, we 60ft 1.511 and almost crossed the centreline so when I eased the throttle off a little a then applied it again the flexplate broke, it's pretty loud on the video and you can see me touch the brakes when it went, mind you I eased back into the throttle as I knew she was going home on the trailer again. we're currently running 18psi of boost into it, however we've tuned it up to 32 psi so this is where I wish to end up. As to the current record holder I take my hat off to him, he did a great run and has the runs on the board. I'm considering putting in a smaller accuattor to lower the boost so that we can get a good run in without breaking something, we'll be back up there on saturday night fixed(fingers crossed) and it's good to know from the pm's I've got that I'm not the only one that's had bad luck with flexplates.

thanks for the interest guys and when I've got it sorted out we'll give it a run in both sydney and calder so we can get to meet some of your blokes and maybe talk the current record holder into a fun run.
