Hey guys and gals

I am undecided in which to buy, should I go for the nice sounds and a few KW's in the 8 or just get a turbo and be done with it.

There around the same money. So what do ya's reckon...

Depends what you want.... cruiser or bruiser?? Personally I'd still go the 8 for the sound and the buldge. Stock for stock theirs bugger all difference in acceleration but when you start modding them then xr6t wins hands down for affordable mods. Im taking this as your referring to the xr6 turbo not the standard xr6. If its standard xr6 then yeah no comparison get the 8 if can stretch the budget!!

I was hell bent on getting an XR8, but they just don't perform or handle as well as a T.

xr8 are good for cruising or towing large caravans.

as said above depends what you want the car for

also said zillions of time on this forum

XR6Turbo is best bang for a buck!!! :laughing:

Simple! Especially in larger fleets, it's always the old baby boomers who get the xr8 because they don't trust this new fangled technology and are too scared of what their mates might think. So keep the buldge in your pants and not your bonnet! It should come with a free bottle of Just For Men and a Cold Chisel tape.

That and the fact that the v8 is bits of several US truck engines and the turbo 6 is for all intents, all oz. Im sure you guys remember the reason why, but my North American buddies can't work out for the life of them, why we didn't get the Mustang SVT v8! That alone puts me off the v8.

saleens sig sums it up perfectly. The boss can sing but it can't dance nearly as good as the turbo 6 can.

Go the XR6T, you won't look back :buttonit:
