I'd go with option 2 Al.

The $2k will be translated into a lot more when it comes time to sell/trade in. As for the 8 week wait, it's a *beep*. BUT, as long as you're trade-in price has been set in concrete it doesn't really matter.

You already have a car that you've loved driving for 3 years, so you get another 8 weeks to enjoy it before saying good bye.

I agree with most of above - get the one that you really want. 8 weeks isnt that long to wait.

However - I also think that you dont have to settle for those options, try some other dealers, go for better prices/options - it only takes a bit of running around, you might find another one you can go and get in another state. (have a holiday as well).

I like the Shockwave the best - but that's just me.

Go for option 1, use the savings for an edit and other mods! 18" tyres are cheaper to replace than 19" and with an edit that will be a factor :k24t: It may not be your first colour choice but you will be able to look at all the other rapid falcons in your rear view mirror :blink:

Other than that perhaps option 3, but like option 2 you have a dealer quoting delivery times and I don't believe they can read a digital watch so a calendar is way beyond their skill set!

Option 1 - Shockwave isn't neerly as common as Rapid, good price, you don't have to wait and as has been said you an spend the saving on Edit, don't bother with the factory 19's they are a rip off get your self some aftermarket ones that you love and make your car unique.
