well, I think I got a great deal...

95 VS SS

5 spd

power windows

drivers and passengers airbags

new windscreen

new starter motor

new tyres

new radiator

no major dents, scratches, resprayed front lower lip

aug 06 rego

169,000km

family car

$7000

pretty good yes? or no...

guy was a local bloke my old man knows and had a good chat to him even before I had a good look over the car.

said he was getting a new prado, went for trade in, but they would only give him $5k for it, so he decided to do it priv sale and the dealers took $10k off the prado anyways...

he advertised it at $9500 but when he was chatting to my old man over the phone, he said he would gladly take $7k for it, went for a drive, and it was an awsome feeling car, and I said "sold" right there and then

what do you all think?

I wouldn't pay that for a 11yo FORD so you can only imagine what I think about paying that for a 11yo HOLDEN :clap:

but time will tell if its a good deal. it may cost you nothing from now on (if you are incredibly lucky) and then the price is far more attractive :spoton:

Beaut car you've picked up there, one of the better holdens ever made, my dad had a brand new VS SS Oct 95 build and it was a great car, only problem we ever had with it was a oil pump after 90,000 kays!

For the price you got a bargain!

Sounds like you got yourself a good buy mate!! VS SS is a very nice car and the 5 speed makes it even more fun. Look after it and stay away from tree and power poles!

Should be a reasonable car.

For my first car I was tossing up between a VS or a EF. Once I compared the interiors the choice was easy, EF it was.

The SS's of that vintage sound pretty good I think.
