Eugene Member 670 Member For: 20y 4m 6d Gender: Male Location: Newcastle NSW Posted 19/01/06 11:57 AM Share Posted 19/01/06 11:57 AM I just installed a boost gauge in my car today and went for a drive with 8psi map.The boost peaked at 5psi but was mainly around 4psi.I pulled over and loaded in the 10psi map and the boost was exactly the same..Ive had the edit for just over a month and I have never been overly impressed with it.Now I know why..I will connect my boost gauge to a mates car tomorrow just to make sure!!Any ideas of what the problem could be..Not happy Jan..<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Sound about right for a blown of intake hose, if its under the headlight, it will hold about 4 psi maybe 5, not much more, drives normal raound town, but wont go up top.Use some hairspay when you put them back on, it helps them slide on and dries as sticky as chewy gum, get rid of the crap spring clips and buy some decent stainless hose clamps.See you Sunday. I assumed it was wastegate not allowing boost to climb as it wasn't leaking boost. After seeing the graph, Street Tuner kindly emailed the latest updates (tunes) to the place where I purchased the flasher from and its very much improved.Of course, a custom tune will fix it, but the latest CAPA tunes probably will as well.Mark
