Absolutely disgusted with mine (1600kg) on my MK2 Aug 05 F6 Phoon, and I just wanted to hear your feedback, especially considering the BF rear bar has so much more going on than my MK2! Thanks JARVIS FORD for the nice scratches on my rear bar for the sh*% house job you did on mine, as the actual tow bar itself doesnt come out far enough to make a turn around a corner without the locking mechanism on the trailer hitting it! Oh yeah, and for the nice hack marks that you reluctantly covered up with your cheap plastic covering after I complained to you numerous times, and for the two inch gap that your trainee cut around the entire thing.Glad to get all that off my chest.. Hope to hear others thoughts on this. Cheers!

Hope to hear others thoughts on this. that's Jarvis for you. Have you been direct to the dealer principal. I did that just after I brought my EB off them (second hand). They tried to shaft me on a power steering pump, but after telling the dealer principal that they were negligent in investigating the complaint whilst under warranty, it was all fixed for free. Give it a shot.Cheers!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I didn't want it but definately needed it. Holidays with bike-racks/trailers/vans/boats/etc made it a must.I was really worried about it, but when I saw the job done (Allan Reekie Ford in Bowral, NSW) I was very, very pleased. They did an awesome job and I was as relieved as hell. Will post a pic when I get the chance.

bangm001 Member 307 Member For: 19y 1m 9d Posted 21/01/06 11:30 AM Author Share Posted 21/01/06 11:30 AM Okay, they look okay on the BF. Did they also have to cut the mesh? Here are some photos of mine, sorry for not posting them originally (no gd with computers). First one shows the bar before, and the second with the cheap plastic surround. The gap was actually alot larger around the sides before the cheap plastic thing. However the most dissappointing thing is the marks on the left hand side of the bar. They dont really show by photo.
bangm001 Member 307 Member For: 19y 1m 9d Posted 21/01/06 11:34 AM Author Share Posted 21/01/06 11:34 AM And here is the after, sorry dont know how to post 2 pics at the same time. A tow pack was a must for me as I have a boat and trailer which I use alot. Just regret not going aftermarket and heavy duty, especially after seeing a cousins on his mk2 xr6T. Thanks people. Take it back to the dealer and tell them to replace the rear bar or else youll be ringing FPV / Ford CRC and complaining... This is what you get when you pay your predelivery people bikies, they really couldnt give a toss, damn ford dealers!
