Any less would be undrivable! Its a straight bolt on plate to fit my exhaust! turbotrana Member 2,586 Member For: 21y 10m 13d Gender: Male Posted 12/02/06 02:16 AM Share Posted 12/02/06 02:16 AM If you go thru the EPA noise test and fail, come back with the same exhaust system, no obvious muffler changes except for this strange plate that is detectable to the eye with a quick glance then I would fail you by 1db also.I think if you try and play that game, they will also. I think they hate it most when someone tries to pull the wool over their eyes rather then putting the cards on the table.The best way to set it up is to have a removabe muffler using flanges with one being the performance one and another being a heavily baffled one which you use to pass the test.
