If it does, it looks great! I wonder if it is real-time?

Been out in the US for over a year.

Some time this year it will be here , Commodores will be first I was told.

we use the xcal 2 for logging now.. have done since chrissy, we also have a new software V 3.0 since chrissy. The loggers are heaven.

Simon, just what difference do the loggers make from both a tuners and end result perspective.?

Instead of just dropping some boost, fuel and timing into a map and going for a blat, you can 'log' waht the car is doing. ie, boost, timing, temps, all vs load or throttle position or rpm. Pick up fault codes and errors.

If you have a map/curve which has a drop in it, just log the thing to see what happens to the tables at that rpm point. Takes all the guess work out of problem solving. Mine for example had a dip, was thought to be a fuel issue. The logger showed it was a timing issue and it was rectified..

Also, not all cars deliver the 'demanded' boost. Modifications vary, as do telerances. If you demand x and it delivers y, you have no idea if a boost gauge isn't fitted, or if the boost gauge reads incorrectly.

My car was commanding 11psi, delivering 15psi.

Like when Darrens car was playing up and we went out with the logger, sniffer and fuel gauges all hooked up once to try and determine the fault.

Yeah I'm a big fan of data logging, I could do it with the E6K too, very handy piece of kit even for the end user. It does take a lot of guess work out of figuring out whats wrong with the car... so when will you be retailing the Xcal2 simon?

Real Time - those days are gone my friend. It is practically impossible to emulate the BA's all the memory is on th MPC555 processor, despite the fact it is 32bit floating point. You can put the processor in BDM mode like alot of the new bosch stuff but even then you can only read and wirte debug etc etc. I know because we have been contemplating since they came out.
