brunks sounds like u might have vavle spring issues

Mate could be, does it seem as though the PCM shut's down to protect itself?

The traction control light coming on was a bit strange!

Same thing was happening to Sutty and we changed valve springs in his car today and fixed the problem he already had new v8 valve springs in his but we put the nizpro springs in and gained 20kw at the tyres at 5500rpm and lost the flutter..

Even new valve springs can fail after short periods or instantly..

He also has the traction control problem but will have to chack with him if its now fixed..

We tried the latest edit program and we can run the cars over 40kph .. Have to get on to C.A.P.A about that....Any ideas TUNER?....

End result was a 44 rwkw gain and a nice smooth curve again.

Traction control problem still there (no dramas in the dry, as I normally turn it off anyways, but very "interesting" in the wet!).

So what is it that creates the Traction Control problems - simply excessive torque?

If so, what is the limit on torque before the TC problem emerges? Here in snow and ice country (in Winter at least), having the TC operational is a must...

(Not going to bother with edit on my manual Ba, but Bf F6 Auto is coming in March...)

Every time I put the boot in enough for TC to engage for longer than a couple of 10ths of a second, the TC turns off. So it's generally off after the first set of lights.

One would hazard a guess that the settings are not right in your program then

Sorry, with the new update in the cars they go straight into limp mode as soon as they get to 40kph (flashing D on dash)..

This is the first report of any problem with the basic tunes we supply dealers, and there are plenty out there using them. However they are just that a 'base'. I would suggest that you may possible be trying to put the wrong processor code in the incorrect vehicle and causing some kind of transmission mismatch.

The simple answer to this is to physically read the processor code off the side of the factory PCM and create a new program - using the correct processor code - incorporating all of the changes in the supplied file. This should take around 5 mintues, and give you a definitive answer.
