I see you know your place!!Make sure you do a good write up on the auto, if your allowed to take it out, and also the brakes, how improved they are over the BA stockers.More pix when Tornado 1 is in the driveway huh??Then maybe we can get them and Terebro etc all lined up..ps, Vixen looks Sh!t Hot..<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Well that report may be a month coming Ben.I got ½ ways home and the cook told me I was a maniac and to get out of the drivers seat so I had to pull over and ride shotgun in the passenger seat. In my short drive I found the auto to be very good and smooth as except for 1st>>2nd which is a bit sus!!It revs out that fast in 1st it hit the limiter once before shifting to second ..I was up-her though and the tires were struggling to keep grip so maybe with good traction it might be ok but I still think it’s odd.The rims/tires look awesome and its amazing when sitting alongside each other how much bigger the rims look over the std rim. The Tire is the same circumference but geez they look nice….the cook tells me they look dirty already and she wants silver ones!!! I might have to wait till the new Ute arrives to give you a better auto report, unless I con her into a trip to Nth Dandelup on Sunday

The excuses are still the same ones and that being Front bars and Hard covers not upto FPV STD so they say????They should make a good pigeon pair

The F6 BF at Titans was taken out by someone for a test drive last week and the person driving it decided it might look nice if he added a suberoo WRX as the bonnet emblem........ Guess what, it cant repaired for ages as there IS NO FRONT BARS, till all the cars are delivered that have been held up Edited 16/01/06 11:40 PM by Xtreme F6

But not an issue in the wifes car eh.....
F6_Tornado F6+300+ Member 940 Member For: 20y 19d Location: In The Ute Posted 17/01/06 01:04 AM Author Share Posted 17/01/06 01:04 AM (edited) Thanks Steve Pr!ck @ Simon there is a lot of unhappy FPV customer’s waiting for their vehicles and FPV is dragging the chain big time and I’ve heard of quite a few who have cancelled their orders. This however is not the answer as when I was at Ford yesterday there was 2 HSV owners wanting to jump into FPV vehicles but they didn’t like the trade-in price as the HSV’s have dropped the price big time of late.It seems that a few HSV boys don’t like getting whooped by the F6 hehehehheheheThe worst part about the entire wait is for example the cooks F6 was built in October. Then sat at FPV till Jan and didn’t turn up at the dealers till last week.So it’s a 05 build 3 & ½ months old before I get it.Then when it arrives it has a Flat battery. The rear bar has chipped paint all around the reverse sensors… It has two traction control switches one the center consul (normal) and one on the dash. The one on the dash should have been fog light switch…So then it spends a week in the paint shop getting the rear bumper removed and re painted.I go to take delivery and the Roof has a strip down the middle that has been missed when they painted the roof in the factory and you can see the blue undercoat through it. It has a nice coat of clear over the top.So it will have to go back into the paint shop for another week to fix that. Then the tail pipe hangs down below the bumper that much I can put my hand between it and the rear bar. Another F6 there I couldn’t even get my finger tips between it.It seems that the QA is poor EX factory and EX FPV however the dealer is doing all the right things to try and rectify the poor QA .. So God only knows what the Ute will be like as its been sitting there since November!!!!!!!!!!!One would think they would have had all the time in the world to go over and QA these Vehicles prior to them being shipped as they have all this spare time while they wait for parts???????????????@ Ben I think the Transmission will need to be refined a little and I’m sure that will happen, As I said it was only under WOT in 1st > 2nd so ill see how it goes with time. All other gears were spot on. I can tell you now even with factory HP its quick … a big difference to mine hp wise but I can imagine the auto with my sort of grunt it will be in a different world.
