It's really giving me the sh!ts.What would happen if I was to fit an aftermarket electronic boost controller? Would this hold the boost more effectively? Also you're complaing about only having 250rwkw but you're only running 8psi? Was that because it was pinging / detonating? Surely the tuner could have squizzed at least 10psi into it.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>no it wasnt pinging or detonating, my tuner says that apparently the exaust can't handle more boost. wtf? I also thought 10 psi was resonable Edited 17/01/06 08:10 AM by robboxr6t Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/22684-funky-boost-curve/page/4/#findComment-336484 Share on other sites

The tuner i WAS using had no idea bout how to control these issues so i fitted the Eboost to give me some control. Simon from Xtreme has tuned the car since and was able to solve all these issues. I still run the Eboost because i love the fact that when i start the car i can run around on 5psi of boost if its wet or my girlfriend or sister and "mates" are driving the car its down to probably around 200ish rwkw and if i want to go out and play race cars all i have to do is press a button on the dash board and i have 15psi and 300rwkw. There very pricey ( i paid around $740) but i the time (before i knew Simon or about this site) i was a cheaper option than blowing the a##hole out of my car... but i would imagine any good tuner such as Simon from Xtreme should be able to sort those issues out...
