Unfortunately it was destroyed while testing for the Mildura 100. Threw a blade of the prop at well over 100 mph causing the boat to spin out of control destroying it. The owner Graham Ritchie lost part of the vision in one eye during the incident and has not river raced since. The observer and engine builder Stuart Thomas now build engines for Hellbent which is starting to develop a reputation along the same lines as God’s Gift. If any one is going through Echuca drop into the American hotel, they have a large section of the hull hanging on the wall.
