I did one of those. Just because you do an advanced driving course, doesn't mean you're invincible though :crybaby:

Because of a bit of software in the engine nicknamed TTFFO by the engineers who wrote it... (Stands for Take The Fun Factor Out, it actually has a really technical \ boring name but I don't remember what it is)... It was first introduced by Expensive Daewoo about 10 years ago, and since then both Ford and Expensive Daewoo have been putting it in as standard... It's suppose to kill the raw power of the engine on warmer days \ when the engine get warmer to "protect itself"...

I've been noticing it a fair bit on the hotter days as well...

Apparently an Edit will remove this software by default...

This is according to Motor mag from memory...

Do it... Whilst Glen is right your not invicible you'll certainly have a better knowledge of how your car reacts in emergencies than most other people, it will also give you an idea of how difficult it really is to stop a car once the :spoton: has really hit the fan, and yes even a T becomes difficult to stop once it slides off the road and is then going sideways :spoton: , lucky there is nothing and no one to hit at these courses...
