could someone recommend someone who could fix this problem for less than 400? live in liverpool, sydney

Just do some legwork and go get a few quotes. You will be surprised at the differences. While you're there take a look at the other cars in the shop and what sort of job they are doing. Ring a local Ford dealer and see who they recommend as they will have experience working on BA Falcons and their colour schemes. After speaking with a few panel beaters you will get a gut feeling about who is good and who will cut corners for a cheaper quote.

I think you will struggle to get a proper job done for less than $400.

I had a respray on my passenger front guard and passenger front door where some tossa ran a key down, the job was worth $900 but I claimed it on insurance and paid $400 excess.

So you might find it hard to get a good job done under $400.

Good luck

Scott

Dude this is the ultimate in a :spoton:

You where the one who asked the original question... almost word for word...

I've put in a answer under the original question - mods can we please lock so we don't get another "what's wrong with my car thread"...

Go down to your local Ford dealer and get yourself a tin of touch up paint ($13)...

As long as your careful you may be able to cover up those scratches at least up until you fix them properly or it happens again...

The one thing with going the touch up paint option is it will never look as good as having the job done properly, and I'd personally be very skeptical about any quotes under $400 as they will (unless your really lucky) probably either do a really :spoton: job or there will be "unforseen extra costs" involved...
