Its just the air con. Nothing to worry about. If its that bad, just keep it on fresh. Probably doesnt cool as efficiently that way, but saves you the smell when you turn it off or change it. I usually use re-circulate, then after a while I'll use fresh for a few minutes just to get some fresh air in there. On the flip side, if you have a missus who doesnt want you doing mods.... well you could always say that the K&N filter is to get rid of that smell... she'd never know! with a CAI and filter I gained around 10rwkw. plus it sounds sweet when you back off the accelerator!! especially with 12psi of boost!! XR68UZ XR68UZ Donating Members 732 Member For: 19y 27d Location: Sydney Posted 31/01/06 05:34 AM Author Share Posted 31/01/06 05:34 AM as the title says I was lucky enough 2 have an evo6 sitting infront of me at the lights. me and 3 mates in my auto ba T were pretty hyped. as the lights turned green, he began 2 pull away a little, but once he was in 2nd he just left me almost 3 car lengths behind, 3rd gear and I was able 2 catch up again (in tiptronic mode). is this due to the weight, or can I just not beat him? mine was stock. his most likely had the usual mods, blow off, exhaust yada yada, however black smoke was pouring from his tail! that about somes up my day. anyone with similar encounters?
