do they have them at autobarn?

I'd say so, yes. In fact, I reckon just about any auto store would stock 'em, they're very popular. Instructions on how to replace the globes are in your vehicle handbook, although I don't think it tells you to take out the airbox and battery to do the job!

It's probably just your upper lip. Tab has the same problem.

Some of the girly-fingered blokes getting around will testify that it can be done without removing anything - but I couldn't be f'ed dicking around so I just rip everything out first :stirthepot:

Well, I've got pretty small fingers and I'd be stuffed if I know how it can be done without taking stuff out, especially on the battery side. You'll spend bloody hours trying to remove/install them if you leave the stuff in, trust me!!:stirthepot:

Nothing wrong with your memory tab ... you're absolutely right - my girly fingers have no trouble removing the driver's side globe - well OK maybe just a little trouble, but I can have it done before any one could get the battery out that's for sure. Just practice I guess. And maybe a knack with getting my fat little fingers into tight spaces :stirthepot::laughing:

PS. The real trick is to use your fingers on one side of the plug (outside) while using a small screwdriver on the other side to compress the release tabs.

PPS. And then if you "butcher" the lock tabs inside the connector the next time you have to do the job the connector will simply pull straight off just like in the good ol' days.
