Mate, you lucky ba$tards over in Qld have the largest snake in the country.. the Scrub Python (morelia amethystinia) which can reach lengths in excess of 7 meters (which is no slouch in the Python world mate). :stirthepot:

While our little midget in the West (Pilbara reigon) the Olive Python (liasis olivaceus barroni) only threatens the tape measure at 6.5 meters.
