There's a seven2eleven on Thurs the 13th July. I'll be out for that one. Hopefully be brass monkey weather at 11pm and maybe go a little bit quicker than 11.4  :smilielol:

Might be a chance for you to better your PB down in Calder

Hi All

The next Saturday night Test n Tune is on 15th July. Is anyone interested in going up? It's not near any major event so shouldn't be so many Drag cars to cause oil downs.

With the cooler months upon us this would be a good time to see what our cars are really capable of.

Gates open at 4pm, racing from 4.30pm.

Any interest?

Big AL

im hoping to go down in the 2-3 weeks.... hoping to get the manual into the 12's :smilielol:

Man, I might be with you.

I want to put a manual into the 11's here in Qld.

Just get DBOSS or Saleen to get both their mums from your boot, otherwise 13 is all you'll get.

And just imagine you put moto 124 in your tank, according to Jeffs theory, you would be running in the 8's!

I know this is a old thread but.... I'm heading out to Willowbank tonight (wed) so if anyone heads out, come say hello.

I'm in a BF ego ute, plates XRJ37.

Two mates are taking their bikes out, so I thought I would tag along and get some stock strip times while the weather is still good. Not sure what times to expect, ZF auto, stock dunlops, and its my first time down the strip. :badabing:

Felix.

Ok well first test and tune and first time I've been down the strip!

Good fun, not as quick as I thought it would be. Only got 3 runs in but shaved .2 off each run. Best run was a very average 13.8 @ 103mph. I had no idea what I was doing :roflmbo:

I think my 60fts times were a little average, best was 2.1. After feeling a little down I watched some other people run, in what I thought were going to be 'quick' cars, quite a few that looked like quick modded cars ran 14.5's etc, so I guess a stock, clueless T owner doing a 13.8 was not too embarrassing.

Any tips people? I just ran the auto in perf mode and TC off, brake and throttle at 1500 as the lights came down then foot to the floor.

My two mates ran PB's of 12.7 and 11.7... pricks. It was their first times at the strip to. A third of the power and 1/7 of the weight, damn bikers.

Felix

p.s. Oh yeah, I am sooooo getting some mods done to this thing!!!!

Well done with the time on a standard car, We were out there last night running the bumble bee (yellow and black ute) was a good night running a 12.2 at 115.8 mph pushing approx 450rwhp on a manual trans, So room for improvment but not to bad considering.

I will keep an eye out for you next time (xrj37)

Thanks kent
