None of those are any good.

1. Too inflammatory, u may attract keys from a Expensive Daewoo fan. :spoton:

2. Dont mention opposition brand, in a roundabout way it says u have respect for them coz youre holding them up as the best competition, I.e. complimenting them.

3. Go back to drawing board. :gooff:

Yeah I'm not a fan of any of them, I really dont like plates that are inciting a challenge to other drivers on the road. I would go for something more personal... you are paying a lot of money for these things so you might as well get some proper value out of them! It's not like I can take my plates with me to another car, unless I get another XR6T!!

My 2c

You would definately get some attention from the Expensive Daewoo fans out there whether it be good or bad. I think I'd get something that doesn't incite conflict between manufacturers.

You would want a pretty tuff car to have GTRETR plates.

The only plate that makes sense is the one that reflects the car not someone else's car. Acknowledging another car is a sign of respect as it's suggesting that it's a benchmark worth beating.

Someone recently told me that an SS would be quicker than my car when I turned up with latest BF XR6T.

It reminded me of the DMB commercials for the VW Beetle from the 60s which noted that a Beetle is faster than a Ferrari. A VW Beetle flat out at 70 mph could easily pass a Ferrari doing 60 mph!

The SS never made the cut for a lot of reasons as did the 300C or the XR8 - and besides a pissing contest only happens when two folk want to compare... at the end of the day they couldn't afford either so slagging my car with another was their way about feeling good about driving their 10 year old Pulsar wagon then whatever makes them happy.

I still grinned and felt good when I turned onto the highway and got the shove in the back as I planted the accelerator to the floor and watched the Pulsar vanish back over the horizon...
