It was an absolute pleasure, not only to KICK YOUR ASS!, but to beat you NUMEROUS times from the start at two sets of traffic lights. Even though my car is heavier.. Sorry Mate...The Turbo wins hands down! Sorry i just had to beat you.. by the way nice size exhaust.. too bad it didnt do much.. Still beat you in my STOCK XR6 Turbo

Guest nmitch59 Guests Posted 02/12/02 05:11 AM Share Posted 02/12/02 05:11 AM CFJ,Seeing you only got the car last week, what sort of "running in" did you do or did it kick ass without any running in needed. Just asking as mine is due from City Ford on Monday next week.

Well the car is still "running in" trying not to give it too much.. just had to when the Skyline tried to race me.. other then that.. think you should take it easy up to around 2000 or 3000KMs. One of the other guys done a post on recommended driving etc for running it in. Try doing a search for it. :D

You've got pics on the website showing us your rego plate, and you're talking about street racing which is HIGHLY illegal in NSW. As in, the police have the power to confiscate your car for good if they have a firm belief that it participated in street racing. The same applies to everyone. Just be carefull guys because you never know who's reading these forums.
