Hi again, I've still been looking and I have found another 1. What do you think?

BA Typhoon - Shockwave - 4000kms with leather for $55,000.

I really think it's a good price. If I was to ask for a $20-$25,000 change over + transfer fee would I be asking for to much?

Cheers

Aaron

hey buddy, I think you should be able to get it a little less than 55k.. esp being in NSW where I think stamp duty is less than here in WA,..

I paid $55k driveaway for my brand spankin new 05 F6 - with no leather but with FPV wheel - noticed afterwards that the back seats are in fact leather??

that works out to;

51,450 for the car alone

3350 for stamp

240 for rego

anyway point is for a 1 yr old car - the shockwave one being an 05, and it now being 06 - gotta love that, you should definitely be able to get it for less!!

Hi ANGEL#3.  Probably adding the extra "Trade in" price into the cost of the new car just to make it look like a good deal.  Shaz drummed it into me to always think "change over figure only", not "trade".  But yeah...  that's goodadvice as I was well armed this time, unlike the Typhoon I was looking at before.  I managed to get over $4000 off the price they wanted and still retain my promised trade in price for the ute.

That deal seems way, way too far over the top.  Add another couple of grand and you've got a Typhoon + onroads.

Too exxy.

rednuts81, awesome price, awesome choice.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Good stuff

G'day all, Since last time I regarding the Typhoon.

The car is Dec04 - 11mth rego - Shockwave - 4000kms - Leather and it's got Brembo. Dealer was asking $55,000 I did get them down to $50,000 not much but it's better than nothing.

The dealer is asking, my car + $27,000 ($23,000 for mine).

Q1- Would you take this offer or pass on it.?

Q2- Pay $27,000 but get them to but some extras on?

Why I'm asking is that I still think that I"m not getting a good deal. A reply would be great.

Thanks

Aaron

$23k for a 03 N/A is a VERY good trade in price IMHO

the $50k phoon is also not a bad deal with the extras it has, if it was me I'd push for another $2k off the price and do the deal. but if they wouldn't budge, I'd prob still take it at what they are offering
