You have know lost any overboost engine protection. Using a bleed valve is essentially the same thing as what most edits do they set the boost control solenoid to a set duty cycle - so its pretty much just a controlled vent; hence a bleed valve. Not temperature dependant..And boost started coming on at around 1800 rpm.....Boost gauge in cabin indicated if boost exceeded the setting.Wind it up to 10 psi in 4 seconds on the side of the road or down to 5-6 psi if it was raining...I got over 18 months of trying to sort out boost issues, someone had a xede fitted prior to me buying the car and when removed harness was never wired back up correctly.Spent too much time and money trying to fix, $60 fixed the problem good. The edit when set up correctly runs close loop boost controll. There is no better way.The funny part is that we can all see when the tuner has'nt done a very good job of boost control with a $50 boost gauge, just think of what might be happening with fuel, ignition timing and cam controll, these are a little harder for us to tell what they have done.We often here of no TC and high idle speeds when you first start the car. The cams and ignition could be any where

I was happy. but it ran 13psi which he said was too much boost for standard cooler.then he played with the tune and got 215 then 222 then 225.he said the cat was too restrictive. so I got a new cat today, a stainless high flow. so monday it goes back for a free tune, I hope I get at least 250rwkw.
