Well... after two attempts and parts not turning up on time it finally happened... well half of it (cause parts didn't turn up) did...

it's just the rear section (over the diff) as the center muffler didn't upgrade didn't come off...

2x2.5" pipes to the 2x twin 3" tip rice slingers...

I guess my rice days aren't over yet... anyways... it looks nicer, and sounds more appealing :)

Open to opinions...

Cheers,

Matt

I'm thinking of doing something similar to my baby later this year. Love to know how it goes over the next couple of weeks...

The rear section alone was $370 fitted... the tips were $120 each, with fitting and piping/resonators $130.

I don't know if theres any performance to be had from the rear section... it looks a million times better then the ford oval and it sounds meaner.

the middle section is where the performance gains are to be had... replacing that with some bigger pipe and a straight through muffler is where to go... my local zorst shop sells that as a two peice 'kit' but it didn't arrive from melbourne... so that has to wait until next time.

Hope this is helpful.

Oh and thanks Blonk... can't wait to make my driveway car friendly :)

Cheers,

Matt

In my book that's a 90% job,for it to be 100% to pass with flying colours,I would like to see the ends of the pipes, instead of being square have a 30 degree angle on them, would go with the flow of the car better, and less prone to scrape the odd steep drive one comes across

I know you like to be told Matti so I'm tellin ya,Sally did the same to his car (single) and I told him the same thing  and he told me :innocent::censored: :censored:

vik...not that thers anything wrong with that

Great price man, well done!!!

I've been checking out the Herrods complete exhaust system with the quad exhaust tips which takes the T to the next level visually. Except there is a huge $$$ difference, the Herrods one is around $2000. Expected 10-20kW improvement and meatier note.

Best of all it doesn't screw up with the Ford warranty.

I'm not sure I can justify $2k to make my T look like that, though $600 sounds a bit nicer on the pocket.

I just had to take a video soundbyte of it running... it sounds awesome for such a simple mod...

Although, from this angle (in the video) I noticed some adjustment needs to be made on the right hand side it is sitting a fraction lower then the right.

Scuse the shonky video, I am a photographer afterall, and not a cinematographer :)

Enjoy.

Matt
