One of my mates has as VYII SS and another mate with a BA II turbo. the SS has exhaust extractors along with the LS1 edit, yet the XRT was standard. Both with no passengers, only themselves, saw the GENIII leave the XRT by bus lengths! On the roll and standing start. they then switched cars .... same ball game!

Not really a fair drag one is stock and one should be capable of a low 13 at least.

I am not sure I follow you there j-bomb..........

Now I get it.. You don't like Blaze...

Maybe you should find out what most members think of Blueprint / Shockwave before you express your opinion.

You are the first person I have met that doesnt like Blaze..

Congratulations j-bomb, your on your own there....

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I saw blaze for the first time the other day on an XR6 and thought it looked great. I'm sure it would look even better on the phoon.

Hi guys,

There's very little difference in straight line performance up to about 180kph between my Maloo & my old edited T ute with 247rwkw, I think the T was slightly quicker, but above 180kph there's no comparison. The power comes on stronger with the turbo, but the LS2 makes usable power from 1500 to 6500 rpm & will happily wind off the speedo (260kph) & hit the rev limiter in 5th gear.

I still consider myself a Ford man , but the Maloo is pretty impressive & I would highly recommend driving an LS2 HSV if you get the chance, just to see what there like, if you can force yourself to drive a Expensive Daewoo that is.

Cheers,

Steve.

My experience is the opposite, mind you I have over 330rwkw.

I've driven a LS2 Clubsport and sure, while the engine is impressive, the rest of the car lets it down.

I sold my VT GENIII to buy the MkII XR6T, as the Holden's product was inferior in my opinion.

On the weekend decided to line up my T (recently edited to 247.5rwkw), with my brothers 11psi SC VS Calais. To make this drag even better a VL Turbo decided to join in .There we were all three of us at the red light revving our cars.

As the lights turned green all three cars has smoked up the joint leaving the cars behind us blindfolded :pinch:

Anyway, I was quite suprise as I had left BOTH cars WAAYYY behind !!!

Yes, I had killed them BOTH on take off thanks to traction.

I had beaten my brother quite convincingly who suprisingly had the take off OVER on the VL.

The Vs SC was out contention and now it was the VL and I.

I absolutely had thrashed both cars even while at 210kph and that's when I then noticed that the VL Turbo was coming closer. But it was too late cause I had backed of at 210kph. It only did catch me was when I had slowed down :tease:

I later had a chat to the guy in the VL T and he said he had to traction that's y I kiked hes Expensive Daewoo ass!!! Nice excuse mate!!! I later told him that I never had my traction ctrl on Aswell

Anyway, I was damn proud of my T, it did more then expected.

Cheers,

San.
