Hey guys just had my cuzins brand new typhoon with 1000km on the clock 6 speed auto all day while he was having a operation he said run it in for him, I hooked it up to my Gtech timer and I ran a

13.47 with a passenger and 3/4 petrol with 1000km on the clock.

Then at night got abit colder by myself with a near perfect launch with traction on

13.22 @ 112mph, now on the gtech the mph is usually out 5 miles so

13.22 @ 107mph that's by my self and half a tank of petrol. I was buzzing out when I saw the times so I took pics with my camera phone of all the runs for proof.

All where done on a private road.

Those Magazines dont know how to drive, I am not beleiving one bit of info anymore. I am one happy camper and will be buying a phoon once I trade the xr6 turbo.

Also the Typhoon has 19ins.

We tested the gtech with a mates car at calder against the time boards and the gtech was there with the mph out by 5 mph everytime, the time was the same.

Not all G-Tech's read the same either Champ. Either way, sounds like you still had a pretty good run. Nothing a modded T for $10,000 less wouldn't stitch up though. :tease:

sounds good, that sounds like what I expected they should do, where the times of the mags are wrong, they do it with the car full of heat soak, which can knock over .5 of a sec off the real time. (remember we are trying to get the best out of them not the worst) a standed auto xr6t can run a 13.8- 14.1 without heat soak, so an auto f6 would blow this away.

did you do the runs each way, because this takes wind, and road angle out of it?

anyway thanks for the info, been waiting for someone to give them a test.
