Hey there XR6T8_U very nice car  who’s been doing burnouts in your driveway

Nah not my driveway... my best mates drive. You wanna see the main road out the front... they just don't care... of course running 20's I'm not much of burnout person...

He's on his 9th set of 18" 255/40 rears on his ute in 6 months... he just can't help himself :tease:

4lturbo-What tyres are you running on the back of your car to fit the 10" wide wheel?

FPR-XR6 those Racing Harts are HOT... but too expensive for a street wheel... the Zenetti's will look good too. Here is a link to another 20" chrome lip/black wheel... these look excellent too...

Jack

Very nice indeed!! They all look SO HOT... the best thing I ever did was buy the 20's, though 19's would have been more practical but you only live once... and they get so many looks it's not funny, and fill out those huge BA falcon guards a treat... love it!!

Wheels are such a personal choice, the best thing to do is, is to go to wheel shop that has HEAPS of stock and just sit each of them next to your car... it becomes very easy then

Definitely go the aftermarket rims. Stay away from the cheap crap you'll find at Bob Jane or other generic tyre shops. Also stay away from Tempe Tyres, heard lots of bad stories about those guys plus their rims are cheap crap!

Don't skimp on width either, the XR is a big car so you'll easily be able to fit 10" wide rims on the back, not sure if you'll need to flare the gaurds or not...

And one of the most important things to consider is OFFSET!! So many people don't have a clue about offset and buy cheapo rims with poor offset which then gives the povo Aussie spec sunken rim look. You want the rim to be inline with the gaurds or even sticking out a little (even though this is illegal, it looks TOUGH!)

Here's some nice rims to consider:

Volk GT-C Face 1 or 2

Volk CE28N

As nice as those rims are, they are all Jap style not Ford rims. And as for the offset comment, they may look tough outside the gaurd, but after the first bump, they wont look so good. Scrubbing the tryes after you've paid good money isnt cool.

martyr, no offence but they are all ugly jap rims you'd expect to find on a silvia or a skyline.. not on a falcon.

JB those lenso's are HOT. I've seen them on an AU in 18's, and black T in 19's, but I think that's the car you got them off.
