Not a bad piece of kit for way back then :)

The Daimler as it's a MkII with the sweet little V8 and the S Type is every bit as fast as the Mk II with the bonus of IRS and long range tanks.

Actually Scotty they're not that expensive, especially in context. You can realisticly pick up a decent one for about $6,000 and pick up a super schmick one for $10,000

Compare it to say, a 289 XR Fairmont, the Daimler is easily just as quick, far more luxurious, better built and a hell of alot cheaper. You struggle to get a decent XR,XT Fairmont for that price.

Not to mention the fact that when people wake up they'll realise a 40 year old Falcon shouldn't be worth that much, where as the Daimler's are appreciating and will keep doing so...
