It was probably the new 645. I've got the currnet M3 (swapping in a few days for an xr6t - no car is worth $2k a month in lease payments) and they're amazingly quick and agile, if your car is stock a  good M3 steerer could have passed you through the Sutho Nat park.

However, I reckon I only need to spend about $6k on engine and $3k on suspension to get the same performance out of a T as my M3.

I reckon for that amount a T would hose an M5 :pinch::pinch:

Hello

I really believe that this guy was having a go cause I could see him on a number of occasions cutting corners to maintain speed.

What a fuggen tosser (not you the other guy). A heap of accidents in the nasho due to people cutting corners there - if you can't take a corner without cutting it get some driving lessons or go to the track :sleepystuff:

Nice read though seems like you had more power on the exits, he had better brakes.

if it was a 645 beemer then he was either not trying or just playing u or most probs he 2 scared 2 drift a 200k car or he was just an old c*nt. with a v10 and the car sounds like an animal, I personally think he couldnt drive the car.

BTW Cosidering its summer and there isnt much dew around, why dont we all organise a national park run in the night. hey its fun as hell :sleepystuff:

Unfortunately mate, I've driven a bog standard e46 BMW 3181 (also a Z3, the ultimate hairdressers car) that had better brakes than the xr6t. Brakes are sadly one area where both ford and Expensive Daewoo are still sadly lacking.

The 645 is a V8 with 245kw and is said to accelerate to the 100km/h mark in around high 5's to low 6's. The one big criticism I've heard about it though is that its a bit of a barge in the handling department. M6 fixes all that up however and comes with a V10 to boot.

Sounds good! We could then keep going on down through the 'gong to kiama, then come back through minamurra rainforest and maquarie pass. :fool:

Makes for an awesome cruise. I should have a few keen mates!

Chris :sick:
