I've got the currnet M3 (swapping in a few days for an xr6t - no car is worth $2k a month in lease payments) and they're amazingly quick and agile, if your car is stock a good M3 steerer could have passed you through the Sutho Nat park. However, I reckon I only need to spend about $6k on engine and $3k on suspension to get the same performance out of a T as my M3.I reckon for that amount a T would hose an M5

A heap of accidents in the nasho due to people cutting corners there - if you can't take a corner without cutting it get some driving lessons or go to the track Nice read though seems like you had more power on the exits, he had better brakes. Brakes are sadly one area where both ford and Expensive Daewoo are still sadly lacking. Edited 10/01/06 02:51 AM by lightning_strike

The one big criticism I've heard about it though is that its a bit of a barge in the handling department. M6 fixes all that up however and comes with a V10 to boot. We could then keep going on down through the 'gong to kiama, then come back through minamurra rainforest and maquarie pass. Makes for an awesome cruise. I should have a few keen mates!Chris
