Guest newl Guests Posted 30/12/05 10:47 AM Share Posted 30/12/05 10:47 AM (edited) Whelp, I did the deed today. I traded in my Lightening Strike Aug '04 T for a Velocity '04 Typhoon (build number 007). Ended up getting a really good trade in on the T (came out ahead on the buyout suprisingly). My only complaint on the Typhoon is the lack of the Momo wheel and it's really the only thing I think I'll end up missing. I tried getting the dealer to eat the $1k cost for the new wheel and installation but they wouldn't. I did manage to get tint, floor mats, headlight and fog light covers tossed in.It'll be a somewhat sad moment to see the T go. It's been one helluva blast for the six months of ownership. I'm sure whoever ends up with it will enjoy because it runs really strong (ex-demo so the run in wasn't done in lemon mode )Quick specs on the Typhoon off the top of my head:Velocity6 speed manualPremium SoundTintBrembos (love 'em, they really do stop on a dime! )Don't recall much else as I was too busy grinning from ear to ear after getting out. Will post pics once I pick it up on Tuesday.
