The good thing I find about Simon is that he's more than happy to let you stay around and watch your car being tuned. Everytime I've had work done there I've seen every dyno run and had every change in the tune explained to me. That's what I want, I'm the type of person that wants to know the in and outs of everything. I don't want to just drop the car off, come back later and get handed a dyno sheet.

Actually in this case I would be happy to do both but the reality is that I won't have the time to stay and go through the tuning process with him (as much as I would like too) I am too busy at work to have any time off to spend with the tuner, this is another reason I am swaying towards Nizpro, as at this stage I am fairly confident (from the comments on this site) that he will have a thorough understanding of what I am after BEFORE I drop my car off and will no doubt with his vast experience with T's know the best way to go.

Sound choice, :spoton:

HPF, and APS would good options as well. Talk to them all, before you make a choice. Then go with who feel most comfortable dealing with.

Only take you car to people who have actually purchased their own XR6Turbo's to use as test mules to develope their products. Not their customers.

They are the fair dinkum one's. Putting their own money, where their mouth is.

Thanks to everyone on the site for your comments!

Well, I took bcl's advice and contacted Simon on his Nizpro site and have been in communication with him quite a few times over the past two days. In light of his e-mails and the recommendations that have come from this site I am about 95% booked in for a edit and custom tune for January 30th!! :spoton:

I just need to confirm my work calendar and it's done, so watch out Northern suburbs of Melbourne, there's going to be another (hopefully!!) quick and enjoyable T on the road!! :spoton:

I'm smiling and I haven't even confirmed my booking yet!!! WOOHOO!!
