I owned a Red and a Black 'Group A' Celica at same time. On a day when it was 34oC outside temp., we put thermometers in both and got 5oC difference with all windows up - after 1 hour. Drop the windows 2cm and the difference was 3oC.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Not really a valid test.As red absorbs a lot of thermal energy and gets almost as hot as black in the sun.A better comparisson would be between black and white or silver.. (Air con actually works well, with massive vents as compared to SS). Black looks tuff when clean, but hard keeping it that way!
