It included the normal dash display values plus basic radio info as well. It was quite nice and not really obtrusive. Sorry to single him out, but the highest developed XR6 Turbo/F6 I believe would be Brians (BCL's)I am unsure of a cost but I believe it would have to be well into the six figure zone, all things included. So between price and development Brians car would be close to an M5 (Well closer than any other XR6T)It has taken 12 months of constant development, testing, breaking and improvement to get the XR6T to it's current level. Which is to be expected when you are going into such massive power gains. The BMW has a 2 year warranty.Hamstrung by an (improved) T56. 0-100 and 400m would be no more than a 10% improvement over a stock M5 (which is 4.9 and 12.5). In gear acceleration however, would be devastating.BCL has had specially developed coil-over suspension which if all goes to plan would allow the XR6 to handle as well as possible and physics dictates that with relative weights within 50kg of each other it should handle as well as the optimised, electronically controlled M5.Brian has spent 5 figures upgrading the brakes to massive rotors and callipers, which are at least equal to the M5's brakes. The wheels and tyres fitted to BCL's T required it be fettled for them to be able fit easily. These are roughly the same dimensions and quality to the M5's stock wheels and tyres. All other things being the equal the BMW still has an extremely well refined interior and hand assembled at M Technik workshops which feature some of the highest qualified 'technicians' in the automotive industry working there. Now don't get me wrong, I believe that Brians car is an absolute beast and being a pioneer in its field of course not everything will be up to the job straight away. When it is finished it will be the equivelant of any Super Saloon on the face of the earth. OEM such as the E65 or M5 or aftermarket such as the 7.3L Brabus.Would I have Brians M5 whappin XR6T? Yes! Would I have an M5? Yes!Do I believe, stock vs stock that they are equal? No! However I do believe you can get 95% of the way there for 30$ of the price, and that would be good enough for me and almost everyone else too.Come on guy's be honest here. You CAN get an XR6T to perform as good as an M5 in so many area's but of course it will cost alot of money. For me the F6 is an absolute bargin and with a small amount spent on it, is a very capable and excedingly quick tourer but you are pitching it against the best saloon in the world and the premium product of one of the greatest automotive engineering companies ever! Most of these are options on the Euro spec units. This would be the main reason for the huge price difference. Bullet proof windows are not listed in the Oz spec option list I drove the M5 and must say I did not like it as much as I hoped. The gearbox felt like a manual drive with an tapdancing clutch leg. Sorta jerked around and had trouble at slow traffic speed.I have not driven a BF F6 Auto, but drove a T with the ZF and was sold. I also had a look at the BA Typhoon and many pics and articles of the BF. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>that's it then NO BULLETT PROOF WINDOWS Count me out Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/22171-bmw-m5-verus-fpv-f6/page/11/#findComment-329539 Share on other sites
