Wondering what power gains have been with just an edit and custom tune on the F6's?

Is it a backwards step before additional mod's?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Mine went 300~320rwkws with Just Edit, Exhaust and Injectors

The guyz with Just edit alone were getting around the 260rwkws mark with good A/F. I have heard of 280+ but I think 260~270max is about it.

This interests me too, if l was to buy a Typhoon l would definitley keep it stock looking and only go for an edit. 260rwkw is awesome, that's gotta be about 320kw at the fly not to mention the likely better fuel economy and smoother response.

Where would you take your car in Melbourne Dags?

Thanks Greg. :crybaby:

Now to decide if I want to wait for injectors and exhaust or not.

Can only think of two places Simon...but there both closer to you than me... :spoton:

Courtesy of Simon from XTREME in Perth I did the battery in the boot and shifted the air intake to the battery side, injectors, fuel pump, 4 1/2 inch dump pipe, twin Hi Flow cats, twin 2.5 mandrel bent system, BOV, and EDIT. Now anything over 360 RwKw and the infamous AP Racing clutch stops clutching, so 350 RwKw is the limit until some ceramic clutch plates arrive. I have a feeling the power is getting up to "Ooppps I Broke It" levels, but 350 Kw on the rear is an awesome HSV destroying driving experience, with the speed limiter raised to 199.9 mph the car pulls hard, with the speedo needle on the stop pin at 270 in 6th gear at 4900rpm it will shove you back in the seat until you run out of bravado.

NOW that's A CAR :beeer:

The only mods I have performed to my F6 thus far is K&N air filter and Edit with Xtreme Custom tune (thanks to Chris and Simon). She is now running 273rwkw :glad:

:stirthepot: Yeah I think I've gone as far as I'm going to, although I will try to squeeze whatevers left once the ceramic plates are done. The guys at Pedders said they had seen a couple of BAs that had punched the rear left hand shock through the rubber bushing into the boot :stirthepot: and that there were neoprene ones in development. I can also clearly remember Flinty covering his ears when I told him the grunt the Phoons can make, and he muttered something about NONE of the suspension bushes being designed to handle much more power than a standard car will make, so it looks like new neoprene everywhere once its been invented.

The best way to go faster than this I reckon is to buy one of those bloody Bugatti Veyrons. Spare 1.4 million anyone? :stirthepot::stirthepot:
