Speedhumps were not always the best, however you take and give a little I suppose. One thing no one has mentioned is you need to ensure you get the "Comfort Option" which will retain mmost of the quality of your standard ride. It's in the coding of the springs something like KKFMSSL etc. I would highly recommend the comfort option as you also loose quality of ride when you go aftermarket wheels.CheersJB Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/22059-lowering-springs/page/2/#findComment-334328 Share on other sites

blackwrx Member 181 Member For: 20y 2m 29d Posted 31/01/06 02:12 AM Author Share Posted 31/01/06 02:12 AM fellashow do you go with the super low on the fron and the super super low on the rears, does it cause any issues with tyre wear etc.I have been talking about getting springs done and I have been told that I need to fit adjusted shocks and a Camber Castor kit.Does this sound right or should I just get the springs fitted? I was told that I would 'probably' need the kit on the front if I was going with SSLs, but that the decision could be made either at the time of fitting or at a later date if money was an issue. The better kits are quite pricey so it's probably best to see if you really need it first before going ahead. I was lucky and am able to get the front wheels aligned perfectly on SSLs without the need for a kit. Yeah, that's true, I do have that combo. But I think it's the lowest combo they make that's specifically targeted at the BA? Their catalogue doesn't list a SSL application for the front of the BA, but I think I recall some forum members saying that there is an SSL set for the front of an AU or something that can be fitted to the BA?Either way, I wouldn't recommend going any lower than SL at the front, it's plenty low enough IMHO.
