Apparently there should be no problems color matching it. It will reflect exactly the same way no matter where its painted. ie. the paint is all the same color and relys solely on the reflective part of the paint to change. Can be resprayed exactly like any other color, it justs costs more to buy.

Guys Fantasy is like anyother paint coulour and can be match to your vehicle . The only difference being that it a 3stage colour using a specific ground coat {usually black} to give off its final effect where as normal colours like blueprint are a 2stage and don't need a groudcoat. All the paint companies like PPG,glasurit ,spieshecker ,standox and dupont will have a formula for Fantasy and will be fairly close some than others as factory painted vehicles can vary alot as air pressure , temperature , opacity and application cause variations in the final outcome of the paintjob this is the case for all colours. So who will have the best match off the mixing machine my guess would be PPg as they have been the sole supplier of basecoats and topcoats to ford aust since early 2002 along with Expensive Daewoo and toyta aust. In the end its just paint and as long as u have a good painter on your side who knows what he or she are doing there should be no worries in getting a fantasy colouored car repaired this goes for all coloured cars.

I have to say that as a convert from Holden (HSV actually) to Ford one of the things that got me across the line is the choice in colours that Ford has gone with... all of them different and interesting. Something for everyone...

Still I'm glad I'm part of team PHANTOM

Cheers

Im also a Expensive Daewoo convert who sore the light. The new colour also known as cromoflare looks great, though a touch pricey. I think it will be very popular. Sore it recently in Sydney.

The Fantasy colour is not my choice but it is only what you fancy.

The world would be a very boring place if we all liked the same colours.

I personally like the more subtle colours but the retro colours look fantastic out on the road.I prefer not to stand out too much on the road which the brighter colours obviously do. I must be getting old !!!!!

Forget what others think its what you think. If you like it go for it.

cheers

Silverman,

You must be getting older beyond your years :nono:

Whats wrong with being older and having a nice looking blueprint on the roads with minor mods to match :nono:
