Barry from BPT Motorsport can hook you up with a good tune. I have my own software and in conjunction with Barry have tuned many vehicles and never had an engine failure.

simon hasn't really had an engine failure if that's what your implying mine is the only 1 and its all my fault not the tuners. if u guys tuned my engine to the power level that he did then I bet I wouldve blown that to. I flogged my standard internal engine with 375rwkw, simon at 1st refused 2 give me that much power and I begged and begged til he gave in, telling him my aim was pretty much to see what the internals could handle and I didn't care if they went. I got my edit box and tune from bpt and my ute went good for a week then went so bad I couldn't even drive it with that tune anymore so I spent all that money and had to drive around with the factory tune back in. I saw simon in spite of barry tellin me hes a backyard tuner fresh on the scene to see what he thought of my car and straight away he made it ten times better and straight out gave me discounted prices without ever seeing me before in his life. He stands up to his word also. He went to the trouble of ordering an exhaust for me the freight and everything at an exceptional price then when he recieved it and it ended up costing more then he expected he still gave it to me for the original price selling it to me at a loss not including the time he spent. How many guys would do that to your average joe, we aren't even mates really. I'm not bagging any1 I just hate ppl being bagged especially when they dont deserve it. In my opinion u can't go past xtreme, alot of tuners promise but xtreme delivers

That's fair enough.

Simon did speak to me this afternoon about your car, clarified what went on. I'll agree the failure was not attributed to bad tuning.

These engines do have their limits as you have discovered. I've seen another engine fail as well, probably in similar circumstances to yours.

It will be good to see how both these cars go with new engines and more power

Standard F6 with just the custom tune and got 260rwkw.  Not bad considering the 32degree heat in the dyno room!

Very happpy with it!!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

That's a good number on that dyno mate..

Maybe get it strapped down properly next time, you'll pick up 30rwkw.

My Ute went 232rwkw on that dyno, edit only.

Lewy

Actives 299/ APC 297 next day

Milz

APC first 238/ Actives 229 a week later

Ninka

APC 222/ Actives 221 2 weeks later

Ask Ninka bout all the results aswell, sure he will be glad to give them.

Yours

Actives 299/ APC 287

Gregs

APC after zorst I think it was 319 or something / Actives 329 rwkw's.

Use as you like, Dyno should be used for looking at gains on that dyno with that tune, I know eddies dyno to be less then 12 months old with all the latest software and calibrations so im more then happy to use it.. If big torque cars arent strapped correctly they will spin ask Rapid F6, ring Domonic at DD and ask him why he supplied eddie with new latest middle roller tie downs.........
