Custom Plenum

I may aswell give my 2c worth.

Kym what current mods do you have and what power are you chasing? My car is still running the factory plenum and has 380rwkw's and runs 10.6. Unless your wanting more than this I'd be working on alot of other things first. With the skills you have I'd suggest the following.

1) 2lt surge tank

2) make a nice custom exhaust with a cat pipe and have twin pipes out the back.

3) custom coldair intake under the battery with large pod filter in front guard infront of wheel.

4) possibly an intercooler with plumbing.

Just some ideas.

You and Mr Turbo seem to be the only two who have actually provided me with relevant info.

I know all the results of Nizpro and APS. I don't want to spend $1500, when I can do it my self and it'll only cost me $100 in materials!!!

It's not a matter of MAX power, I just want it cause I can.

1) 2lt surge tank

2) make a nice custom exhaust with a cat pipe and have twin pipes out the back

Have 3.5" Dump, Metal cat, 3.5" to standard over the diff.

3) custom coldair intake under the battery with large pod filter in front guard infront of wheel.

Can't, have Massive PWR trans cooler mounted there. Will be Moving Battery to other side and making cold air box there.

4) possibly an intercooler with plumbing.

Already have PWR IC, But will Change it after I with the Plenum. Maybe Garrett core, custom end tanks!

There are still a lot of other thing I have to do. Still dont have Valve springs, LOL.

Just think I'm slack! (oh, and Broke, Ha!).

and Trans, and internals, and bigger turbo, and cams, and head work... the list goes on and on, at least this is one thing I can do for my self!

Glad to help out boosted_sa , being the first T with this plenum I only paid $700. no matter what people have said about the plenum, I know it works well and has proven the results on the dyno along with the new Intercooler. Just wait untill the car does a 10, that will shut up some skeptics out there.

That's what I like to hear So what are you waiting for, I doubt theres any rocket science involved. The intake system is pressurized so anything equal to or bigger than the factory plenum would work and look a hell of alot nicer.
