Wanted to keep the car as stock as possible (mechanically) primarily for warranty reasons but also wanted a bit more grunt. So I've limited my mods to a 'Phoon CAI, BMC filter and the ubiquitous Edit. :spoton:

Slow and steady are my mods... I have CAI and BMC, looking at an exhaust soon for a better note, I also want some gauges!

Mines standard besides a bov and typhoon cai. Not concerned about more power, but would love some decent brakes and some 19's. Ive wasted too much money on cars so far, so I promised myself to keep this one standard.

If mine would make it for a complete service interval (even the interim 7500km) withou developing a non NVH related warranty fault I'd consider it.

But seeing as it's boardering on being the biggest lemon I've owned (and apparently I've had some stinkers) it'll be stock for a while yet - Not counting electronics inside and XR8 dual CAI pod....

But I suppose you could count all the Ford improvements as mods...

So..

Diff (multiples thereof)

Water pump o-ring that don't leak

Thermostat housing seal that don't leak

ECU code that doesn't overboost

Heater that works

Tailshaft that does shake

Exhaust heatshield clamps that stay on

:)

The sad thing is that after all the crap and more days off-road that I'd like I'd still buy another - there's simply no better car for the money.

Only had my T for 3 weeks and put 1500 k's on it. Not sure about mods yet seriously considering a conservative custom edit 230 rwkw or thereabouts. Worried about the long term effect on the durability of the car. Also warranty worries. My farther is the workshop foreman at our local ford dealer and he has already warned me not to mod the car, so not to sure how much I could sneak past him.

I just want 250rwkw. Should be an edit,injectors,2nd cai,k&n filter and valve springs hopefully.

I use my car for work daily so reliability is paramount.Looking for the balance between power and dependability.

I said to myself I wouldnt mod the car !!!!! Yeah right.

You may not need to do valve springs if you have a newer T if you are just chasing 250rwkw's.

Mine's stock except for the cd stacker and minor stuff.

The only go-faster bits I have are electric blue valve caps on the tyres! :laughing:

There is one mod I'd like and that's stiffer shocks/springs. In NT where we have open speed limits, the car floats a bit at 180km/h through the sweepers
