Just did not feel like bottling it up yesterday as some truck drivers and taxi drivers can be deliberately annoying on the roads. Hey, the funniest thing happened today. I was waiting to do a right hand turn onto a main road that also carried trams (High St Prahran) and a tram stopped to my right and let me do the right hand turn! There was a preg pause of course because I was wondering what the heck he was doing. He blocked about 20 cars behind him whilst he stopped and it was most definitely not a designated tram stop. I guess there are some good'uns. I just hate it when a tram is going guns then slows right down when parked cars approach which means you're at the speed limit beside the bugger then when you get "cut off at the pass" by the parked cars on the road, you have to let him slip on through and hope the cars following the tram are kind enough to let you back into the traffic (by the way a tram can be 3 - 5 car lengths long depending if it double jointed or not).phantomchic, standard Mexican manouvre to take in the sites, go round and round the roundabout

I don't know what good it would do but I reckon everyone who gets a car licence should be made to go out with a truck driver (inane, boring conversation and all) for a day and then everyone would get an idea as to how mental some people's driving is...Cheers Jack

The problem was you should have been in the left hand lane, getting ready to exit. Instead you found yourself stuck in the middle, and driving slowly hoping for a gap on the left. Pays to be in the correct lane well before the exit you want to take. If I were behind you, I would also have my hand on the horn - your inability to be in the correct lane in good time doesnt give you the right to impede traffic flow on a freeway. You cant just decide to make your mistake - your problem - everybody else's. Seriously though, given the performance of the T, you should be looking at your driving habits. With that much power on tap, you shoudlnt be getting yourself into those kinds if pickles. Hi ya guys,Maybe it's my driving or it's the silly season but I've been on the end of quite a bit of road rage lately. Like this morning, I merge into the South Eastern Freeway from the Blackburn Rd on-ramp at 100km/h and squeeze in between 2 trucks because there is no where else to go. A new gap opens up in the right lane next to me, so I indicate and go for it and I am off into the horizon as far as this truck that was behind me is concerned. Next thing I know, I'm in the middle lane waiting for an opening in the left lane (penned in left, right and infront) to exit onto Burke Rd travelling at about 90km/h and this far can truck starts tooting his horn 2 inches from my arse. He's tooting is so loud that my friend on my mobile (I use an in-car handsfree kit) askes me what's all the tooting. Turns out I recognise him as the truck I squeezed infront of when I got onto the freeway. Talk about dkbrane. Story finishes up with a gap opening up to my left and I indicate and zip off again onto the Burke Rd exit ramp. Then this afternoon, I'm driving down Tooronga Rd and coming up to a clear left lane to turn left into Malvern Rd and this dkbrane silver merc convertible queued up in the centre lane with about 6 cars infront of him just jerks himself into the left lane without indicating and takes pole position at the lights. So he and I are sitting at the lights, him in front of me and he gives me the bird as he speeds off straight ahead from the left turn lane. What the farg? The only thing I remember that had anything to do with him, was I came up fast behind him earlier on coming down Tooronga Rd when we were slowing down to cross the train line, that's all.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

So it sounds to me like it was someone ahead of him that was impeding the traffic flow.
