Guest mercurysteve Guests Posted 20/12/05 03:43 AM Share Posted 20/12/05 03:43 AM I have the exact (probably worse) thing happening on my front bar.The answer (from a mate who is a panel beater) although it is a work around, it works perfectly.Take off the number plate and you will see what can only be described as a plastic hollow "dick" (now don't start you guys) that goes back into the cars reo. Simply put a bolt through that once you have the bar manually lifted back into it's optimum positon and then put that number plate back on. It is near on impossible to see, even with the plates off.Good luck y'all because this problem will only get worse, he has seen a heap of them already. Worked for me! Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/21969-sagging-front-bar/page/3/#findComment-326477 Share on other sites
Guest mercurysteve Guests Posted 20/12/05 11:09 AM Share Posted 20/12/05 11:09 AM Not certain as it was done for me whilst I left the car with him, pretty certain that it is the plastic reo behind the front bar, just easily went stright through apparently. the extra spacer idea sounds pretty good though, top stuff Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/21969-sagging-front-bar/page/3/#findComment-326577 Share on other sites
