I'm a white collar professional and my heritage is Lebanese, I think most of the people on this forum are racist, which is sad. I don’t condone what happened with the lifeguard’s but what happened yesterday was even more disgraceful. The problem here is they have started a fight with a ethic race that loves a all out brawl and all that will happen is innocent people will get caught in the middle and some one will be killed.

Certainly not condoning yesterdays outrageous and disgraceful behaviour by so called Aussies, but your comments above do nothing to instill any support for the minority of Lebanese/ middle eastern lunatics by suggesting that they are a race that loves an all out brawl and that someone will be killed.

In an unrelated incident in another area a colleagues kids were set upon on Sunday night by a group of youths claming if we cant have the beach they would take over that locale ..... FFS.

Understandably there is a lot of simmering anger and frustration around at present , but all the mindless rhetoric is not going to help.

Apparently the Lebanese flags were also being flown from cars in the Parrammata area by young fools promising revenge on the Aussies. To this end I cant see any immediate improvement in the situtaion.

Fools and animals on all sides , let the cops do what they need to do.Scum have too many rights these days. I grew up in Qld in the Joh era and I can tell you that this sh*t would not be tolerated , retribution for these acts would be swift and harsh. True my comment was a stupid but not what I meant, the mentality of these particular young lebs in Sydney is not that of the entire Lebanese community, they are a small minority but give a overall impression of the community at large, they are gang members who like nothing more then a all out brawl, I have no respect for them.

Of late there seems to be a common factor.

Native Australians have tribe justice...Ie: You get speared once or twice by your own people.

Marshall Law and the Sedition Laws will be used to arrest anyone the government wish to.

I fear this is all becoming too much like Berlin 1936 for my liking. Find a scapegoat and get the public to hate it.

I hate to be on the opposite side of this, but.......... when's the last time you checked the history books on your own nation?

Just like here, we moved in (Britain), we out numbered, and we changed the entire society to our own liking. History may be repeating itself, with Karma in hand.

I know I'm stepping into something here, but I couldn't read that and not point out the hypocricy. I was pretty mortified when I saw this on the news, that so many people in an evolved society were playing on that level.

Got to say also that the Police have let it get to this point it has also by letting these rat bags get away with blue murder,there was an article a couple of months back where a group of guys down at the rocks were insulting the police calling them cops and using racial comments towards them on a current affair and they simply started there car and drove away WTF message does that send out to these people

Enough said I hope the trouble makers are serverly dealt with and its over asap and I feel for the descent people who have been caught up in it all

there was a story I was told by a relative in the water patrol that when they saw a guy darting around close to swimmers on his jet ski they pursued him till he rode the jet ski up to the section of beach where his 20 or so mates (of ethnic decendency) were hanging out, ran into the crowd and hid. when the water patrol got out of the boat to question the bloke they were bullied back into their boat. not long after that jet skier was out doing his antics again. as has been said earlier in this post, they dont fight fair.

or the muslim woman who took the RTA (or equivilant) to court in the usa because they told here in order to get her licence she had to remove her head scarf to have her photo taken. how else is a cop supposed to identify you?

or the week after the 60 minutes story (something to do with the muslim community), a man from auburn wrote a letter to the 60 minutes mailbag that supported the "taking over and conversaion of australia to a completely muslim society, god willing".

I have a couple of mates who are of middle eastern descent and there great blokes so I dont follow the thinking that every middle eastern or muslim is bad, but you have to understand where this build up in tensions are coming from.

people are only standing up for themselves beacuse they feel threatened and they know (not think, KNOW) that the police or politicians are going to do "sweet F all" about it!.
